St. Jude LIFE Starts a New Chapter

Dear St. Jude LIFE participants,

Thank you for being part of the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort Study (St. Jude LIFE). You help us learn more about how cancer treatments affect survivors and improve care for current and future patients.

In this newsletter, we look at how we are now studying the long-term effects of newer treatments like immunotherapy. Immunotherapy uses the body's immune system to find and destroy cancer cells.

  • Learn more about the CONQUER study, which will open soon. It uses the St. Jude LIFE model to study the long-term effects of CAR T-cell treatment for leukemia. It will include people treated at St. Jude as well as other cancer centers.
  • Read about Sara Jevtic and the LEGACY study. LEGACY looks at the long-term effects of a neuroblastoma treatment called anti-GD-2 therapy.
  • Meet long-term survivor Joshua Parker. Parker tells how he started making healthier choices after taking part in the CARTOXIII (Home Heart Health) study. His story highlights how St. Jude LIFE can help you learn more about your health and take steps to improve it.
  • Get ready for summer by reading our summer health tips.

Together, we are improving survivorship care. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
